Pronouns: She/Her

Hello! Welcome to my biography page. I am a Registered Psychologist practicing in beautiful BC. I enjoy offering counselling and psychological assessments for youth (16+) and adults. I provide in-person and online sessions with weekend availability.

In the counselling room, I work from a strength-based and person-centred lens. I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space where culturally diverse clients can openly share their inner experiences. My work with clients is collaborative in nature and helps individuals gain a deeper understanding of themselves. I emphasize providing clients with therapeutic skills and strategies that they can add to their toolbox to use in the world outside the therapy session. One of my personal beliefs is, “Knowledge is Power” and therefore I also provide psycho-education and a rationale behind the strategies discussed in the session. I have a passion for working with clients experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, grief, and cultural adjustment. I specialize in helping clients overcome specific phobias, learn anger management, and executive function coaching for clients coping with ADHD. I ground my therapy skills and techniques in research, and I utilize the following evidence-based modalities:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

Inference-Based CBT for OCD (I-CBT)

Solution Focused Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Strategies

Person-Centred Therapy

I gravitated towards assessments to help people better understand and obtain insight about themselves. I provide psycho-diagnostic assessments, which involves a thorough clinical interview and completion of assessment measures. The mental health concerns that I assess for include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and personality disorders. I work to give clients clarity and assist them in advocating for support and accommodations.

When I am not in the therapy room, I enjoy travelling, trying new restaurants, going to comedy shows, spending time with family/ friends, reading, painting, and singing. I offer sessions in English and Hindi.
